I'm Amanda Kate. I live in NYC, love my life, but have dreams of vast open spaces all the same. I miss the city when I'm away, and miss the mountains and the ocean when I'm here. I love to travel over and above just about anything else, but will do a lot to jump off a rope swing, ski over waves of powder, or listen to a good story teller.

nycdigital: NYC Birth Rate by Mothers’ Age in 2007 Part of NYC Open Data, where you can find 764 datasets, charts, and maps. Many of these are fascinating, so go ahead and explore! If you’re a developer, you can use the Socrata API to integrate the data into apps to help New Yorkers live smarter. I would like to see this graph compared to the one from say, Birmingham, Alabama.
