I'm Amanda Kate. I live in NYC, love my city life, but have dreams of vast open spaces all the same. I miss the city when I'm away, and miss the mountains and the ocean when I'm here. I love to travel over and above just about anything else, but will do a lot to jump off a rope swing, ski through mounds of powder, or listen to a good story teller.

Mets, Jets, Nets…

Tonight, someone tried to sell me on moving to San Francisco by listing all the sports teams there (I do love my sports).  I shot back that we have the Mets, Jets, Nets,…  and suddenly realized New York sports teams may as well be straight out of a Dr. Seuss book.
