I'm Amanda Kate. I live in NYC, love my city life, but have dreams of vast open spaces all the same. I miss the city when I'm away, and miss the mountains and the ocean when I'm here. I love to travel over and above just about anything else, but will do a lot to jump off a rope swing, ski through mounds of powder, or listen to a good story teller.

UPS’s directions tell me it will take a mere 13 minutes to get from the far Upper East Side to Hell’s Kitchen.  Yeah, right.  Add 30 to that and maybe we’re close.
